This Spring Break week has been specially designed for high school students to

1. Boost performance in Math
2. Prepare students for college
3. Give access to successful business men/women
4. Perfect the "Total Package" of personal presentation skills
5. Create the "I can do it!" mentality

Go to the NEXT LEVEL - TAKS Math Boot Camp!
We all know that the TAKS test is required for graduation. We want to help students pass it and put it behind them. Our focus area is math. Students can get real help in the specific areas they need most.

Students participating in the boot camp and other activities have first chance at winning a seat in the summer Atlanta GET ON THE BUS college tour! Priority is given to high school juniors and seniors.

Get Up and GO!!!
This Spring Break is packed with places to go and people to see. In addition to moving about town, we also purposely scheduled practical one-on-one time to help with scholarship essay writing and personal presentation development. Take a look at the schedule.

Tuesday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Math Boot Camp
University of North Texas College Tour
Wednesday 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Math Boot Camp
Scholarship Essay Writing Assistance
Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Math Boot Camp
Inside Frito-Lay Tour
Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Math Boot Camp
"Total Package" Personal Presentation Skills Workshop
Saturday 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Opportunity to Thrive Carnival (Optional, but students can receive community service hours for volunteering at this community event)

The Urban League is located in the 75216 zip code. While any student is welcome to participate in our week of activities, we want to extend a special invitation to students that are right around us everyday - A. Maceo Smith, South Oak Cliff, Roosevelt, and Samuell High Schools.

Imporant things to Note:
- Spring Break 2010 activities are for high school grades 9 - 12
- All activities are free (no charge, nada, zero)
- Some transportation assistance may be provided
- Students must attend the entire week
- Space is limited. RSVP today.
