Heroes Compassion Drive
 

 

The EDGE program is partnering with the Efficiency Apartment Supportive Housing (EASH) Program to provide clothing and home furnishings to help formerly homeless veterans get on their feet.

One of the founding principles of the EDGE program is COMPASSION. Providing needed items to our HEROES, our veterans, is one way EDGE seeks to say "Thank you for protecting our freedom," and to in turn help those who have helped us.


ITEMS MOST NEEDED

  • cookware/pots and pans
  • dishware
  • cooking utensils/silverware
  • dish towels, oven mits/pot holders
  • small kitchen appliances-toasters, can openers
  • bed lines - all sizes/blankets/compforters pillows/pillow cases
  • bath towels/face towels
  • men's clothing - pants size 30 - 46 waist/length 30-34
  • men's shirts/sweaters/sweatshirts size medium - 3X
  • men's shoes sizes 9 - 13
  • alarm clocks/radios/telephones
  • any furniture


  • Each EDGE participant is being asked to coordinate the receipt of donations from your family members, schools, churches, teams, and other organizations you may be a member of. Please bring all donated items

    Partnership between Dallas Metrocare, Uraban League of Greater Dallas, HUD and the Veterans Hospital Assists homeless veterans find an apartment, mental help services, utility assistance, furniture/clothing/food, employment training and referrals, and public transportation
