Community Family Reunion

The Community Family Reunion brought together churches, businesses and residents in the 75216 community for a symbolic statement of that "we are a strong, progressive family community." The event was designed and spearheaded by 7 high school and 1 one college intern. The event included a Walk & Rally for change, a "Game Royale" spades and domino tournament, and a "Swish" basketball tournament.

A very special thanks goes to all those community residents, businesses and Urban League family volunteers who gave of their time to ensure that the Community Family Reunion was a success. For all you 5:00 a.m. people, you are the best!!!!!!!!!!

NEXT YEAR
The 2010 Community Family Reunion will involve the same great community family fun and friendly competition. Additionally, it will tie in much needed services to the community with a "Back to School" emphasis.
