For over 35 years the Urban League of Greater
Dallas has worked diligently toenable individuals and families to move toward
sufficiency, social equality and economic parity.
Thanks
to the efforts of staff, Board and volunteers the Urban League's facility provides
an environment where: education and training are chosen as paths to self-reliance;
where clients are prepared for the world pf work; home ownership is within reach
for those who prepare and plan; health education and health awareness reduce
risk; senior citizens are included and make meaningful contributions; the Urban
League's CDC (Community Development Corporation) will play an active role in
developing the communities around us.
The Technology
Center serves as the "hub" of technology training for our youth and
adults. Our efforts are gradually bridging the digital divide.
As
we celebrate our accomplishments, we want to thank each of you for the role you
have played and will continue to play as we move forward in our efforts, working
together to help each other. We invite you to join us in creating positive choices
for the future. For no other organization is so solidly positioned to address
